TAX DEDUCTIBILITY

Washington English Center accepts contributions in support of its Spring Event—Promise of a Future—up to, during, and after Thursday, May 15th. All gifts made in support of the event are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, as specified by IRS regulations.

For individual ticket sales, and individual and corporate sponsorships, information on tax deductions is provided below. Please note that a portion of all contributions made by attendees will be used to pay for food and/or alcohol, regardless of consumption during the event.

Washington English Center is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 52-2106206). Promise of a Future's net proceeds will pay exclusively for Washington English Center's operations. The value of each ticket or sponsorship, minus the fair market value shown below, is considered tax deductible as specified by IRS regulations.

Valedictorian Sponsorship of $10,000 ($1,260 fair market value) | Salutatorian Sponsorship of $7,500 ($980) | Dean's List Sponsorship of $5,000 ($700) | Honor Roll Sponsorship of $2,500 ($420) | Scholar Sponsorship of $1,000 ($280) | A+ Student Sponsorship of $500 ($140) | Regular Ticket of $175 or Current Volunteer of $100 ($70)
