TAX DEDUCTIBILITY

Washington English Center accepts contributions in support of its Fall Event—the Community Cabaret—up to, during, and after Monday, September 14th. All gifts made in support of the event are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, as specified by IRS regulations.

For individual ticket sales, and individual and corporate sponsorships, information on tax deductions is provided below. Please note that a portion of all contributions made by attendees will be used to pay for food and/or alcohol, regardless of consumption during the event.

Washington English Center is a 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 52-2106206). The Community Cabaret's net proceeds will pay exclusively for Washington English Center's operations. The value of each ticket or sponsorship, minus the fair market value shown below, is considered tax deductible as specified by IRS regulations.

FAIR MARKET VALUE

Patron of the Arts Sponsorship of $2,500 ($150 Fair Market Value)  •  Cabaret Aficionado Sponsorship of $1,000 ($100 FMV)  •  Friend of WEC Sponsorship of $500 ($50 FMV)  •  Full-Price Ticket of $75 or Current Volunteer Ticket of $50 or Current Student Ticket of $25 ($25 FMV)
